Dealing Team – Jr/Middle Management professional (4 to 8 years)

Job Description

Role: Equity Trader

We are looking for a candidate who has experience as an Equity Trader managing a proprietary trading book. The primary responsibility would be managing a proprietary equity portfolio and achieving profitability targets.

Key Candidate Attributes:

1. Prior experience managing an equity portfolio of at least Rs. 50-100 Cr.
2. Experience in trading equity cash and equity derivatives.
3. Good analytical skills with the ability to carry out industry, company and financial statement analysis.
4. Keeping abreast of micro & macroeconomic indicators, global & domestic financial markets, and their impact on stock movements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Managing the trading portfolio while ensuring compliance with prudential risk limits.
2. Achieving the profit target for the year.
3. Scanning evolving market developments and generating/sharing trade ideas.
4. Preparing internal industry and company research reports.

Educational Qualification: MBA (Finance)/ any Graduate or other post graduate degree.
